Lectro's tip

Before you call any electrician, snap a photo of your electrical panel with the door open. It answers a lot of questions in one picture.

A Family-Owned Electrical Company in Belleville

3D Electric is a family business. Jayson owns the company and built it around one idea from our old website: electrical is what we do.

Belleville is home base. From here our vans head out across Wayne and Washtenaw counties for generator installs, panel work and service calls. Being local means we know the housing stock: older homes with fuse boxes or undersized panels, newer subdivisions with natural gas service, and rural properties with pole barns and long service runs.

Master Electricians to Apprentices

Our crew ranges from master electricians to electrical apprentices. That mix is how the trade gets passed on. Apprentices learn on real jobs next to experienced electricians.

3D Electric is licensed and insured. When you call, you hear from Jayson or the crew.

What We Install and Repair

Standby generators are the biggest part of our work. Michigan storms and ice take down lines, and a long outage means a dead sump pump, a cold furnace and a full refrigerator going warm. We install and service Generac, Honeywell and Kohler home standby generators, including 22 kW natural gas units. Our whole house generator installation page explains sizing, transfer switches and permits.

The same crew handles everyday electrical work. Our residential and commercial electrical services include panel upgrades, electric service and meter work, EV chargers, lighting and troubleshooting. To see real jobs, browse our generator installation projects.

Lectro, Our Mascot

Lectro the Leopard is our mascot. Jayson created him, and he shows up in our ads and in a short tip on many pages of this site. In the video on this page he stands beside a Generac home standby generator, ready to talk power.

Lectro keeps things friendly, but he never replaces the electrician. His tips are simple things you can do at home, like checking which breakers are labeled before a storm hits.
